R.O.N.

I could feel my cheeks split open
blood poured into my mouth
and
I thought it would be warm
but it felt cold.
I spit up mouthful after
mouthful of crude red
mixed with saliva,
it didn't turn pink, pooled in
my cheeks, holding it like
nuts for the winter.
My teeth gleamed so white
in the contrast.
My gums acting as grey
space
between the red and white.
I didn't know I had it in me.
Cheeks suck in like dimples,
popped like biting into a grape.
